Q: itunes freezes when I click the buy button

My itunes freezes when I click the buy button.  I've unistalled and reinstalled it several times. I'm running windows 8.1 and have the new itunes 12.2

    Hi Warndt,

     

    It sounds like you are trying to buy something from the iTunes Store but the application becomes unresponsive when you click buy. I would recommend you use the troubleshooting in the following article about that kind of an issue:

    I figured it out.  Took all day and about 50 uninstalls but basically I went through my computer and removed everything that said Apple.  Then installed it and after testing whether it would freeze when my wifi was shut off, realized that it would only freeze if I clicked on the album and went to the individual album page, and THEN clicked on the buy button.  If I clicked to buy while on the main page, it would work and not freeze when I clicked "buy"

    I appreciate the response! I like that you found a work around, but what you are describing still sounds like unexpected behavior, so if you want to continue troubleshooting, that article I provided is always there to help if you so choose.
