Reset the printer system by Control clicking on the printer list pane in System Prefs > Printers & Scanners. This will wipe all the printers on the list.
Then, with the printer on the network, add it again by hitting the + sign at the bottom. There may be more that one version of the printer on offer, if so try them in turn until it works.
