Sep 6, 2015 8:19 PM in response to gjn6595by Nargella,I read a post on another thread that suggested calling 011 44 57 7314 2076. I did this, turned off iMessage, turned it in again and VOILA my phone number was activated!

Nov 11, 2015 11:12 PM in response to Strive268by grlundrrepair,With the iPhone, there is no need to "Use your Apple ID for iMessage" if you want your iMessages/FaceTime calls to come from your phone number ONLY. If you have signed in with your Apple ID for iMessage/FaceTime, log out and switch the iMessage button off and then on again. At this point, you will see a "Waiting for Activation" text below the iMessage button. Disregard the "Use your Apple ID for iMessage" option and wait a few minutes. It took about 15 minutes for iMessage/Facetime to get activated and have my phone number appear in the Send & Receive section.
