Q: I purchased an album in iTunes, it downloaded and I played it.  A few days later, it now only shows the iCloud icon in my purchases history and when I click on it, the album doesn't download anymore.  Anyone else know about this or have a solution?

I am using an iPhone 5s.  I am running the latest iOS software, including the update released a couple days ago.  The issue is with iTunes.  I downloaded an album and I was able to play it for a few days in my library.  After I updated my operating system, now the album is gone from my library.  When I look it up in purchased items, it is there with the iCloud icon next to it.  When I click on that, it thinks, indicates it is going to download, and then 30 seconds later, just stops and nothing happens.  I can't play this album I purchased.  I have restarted the phone, plugged it into my computer, synchronized, etc.  Nothing is working.

Help!

    Hey NDPIAG,

Thanks for the question. If I understand correctly, you updated the OS on the computer and now music is missing from iTunes. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help the issue.

If you see an exclamation point next to content in iTunes - Apple Support

    1. Windows 8: Choose File Explorer from the windows taskbar.
Windows 7 and Windows Vista: Choose Windows Explorer from the Start Menu.
    2. From the left-hand column, under Favorite Links, click Music.
    3. In the main window to the right, double-click iTunes.
    4. Double-click iTunes Media.
If the iTunes Media folder is empty, double-click the iTunes Music folder.
    5. Double-click the corresponding folder for the file type you're looking for. The contents of the folder will be listed in alphabetical order. Depending on the folder, the files will be sorted by artist, author, or title.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
