Q: Apple Watch Sport Edition logo disappear of the back of it.

Recently I called apple costumer care because an issue with my apple watch sport edition, the black one...

For some reason, the logo of the back side of the apple watch just disappear leaving a deep scratch on it.

I talked with James E., an senior adviser of costumer care of the company, and he told me that the "issue" isn't a real problem, and I sent to him a picture of my watch and he said that looks like an accident.  For real?  I take care of my apple products very well.  Anyway... I was reading on the internet and I found two articles from Cult of Mac, talking about other costumers with the same situation.

Here is the photo of my watch... pay attention to the apple logo area.  I would like to see if anyone else notice this scratch on your apple watch sport edition black.

I Did. I'm waiting for the "opinion" of the engineer.  But this issue its something new for the company. How ever, I readed articles even from the Times Magazine talking about this. But at the moment, the company havent say anything. I'm waiting for a response today. That is way I decide to open this question here at the forum; to collect information about other cases, so probably they just realize that there's a trouble on manufacturing.

Opening a discussion here to collect information on other cases would be a poll which is not allowed by the ToU. Apple engineers and executives do not participate here so you will not be making them realize anything. Either wait for a response from the engineer or make a Genius Bar appointment.

my Appointment is today I have heard different things, some places send it in to be looked at and some just replace them, it looks like its a problem with the way the wording is embossed, as there is no chipping or scratching anywhere else but on the letters.

Two supervisos said that the scratch was made accidentally for me.  But once they see the email with the reference of this discussion and the other pictures, and the articles of Times Magazin, and Cult of Mac... They accepted it is somethin caused by a manufacturing fault. So, I encourage every that have the same issue to contact Apple and let them know about all of this.

    THanks to everyone!

So I went in for my appointment yesterday and while i was waiting i was talking to one of the guys that works the floor. We were talking about how we liked the watch and I told him why I was there. He took off his watch and the same thing was happening to his! So when it was time for my appointment I had the genius bar guy check some of the employees watches and after he did that and talked to the repair center and his manager they decided to just replace it. So I got a new one.

Did every one of the employees watches have the same problem or some did not? Will be interesting to hear your experience with the new one.

    Saludos!  Chacho:
