It sounds like you have reset the password to your Apple ID, but you are still unable to sign in to disable Find My iPhone or restore the iPhone. Until the Apple ID password is reset, you won't be able to proceed. I'm going to include some resources below to reset the Apple ID password, and to contact Apple Support ID if you are still unable to do so.
