Q: Recently added pictures are not available to upload pictures to Facebook.

I have uploaded photos from my iPhone 6 plus to my Mac. I want to take the pictures from my Mac and upload an album to Facebook. However, when I click on "create an album" the window pops up to select files but nothing newly uploaded in the last month is showing up, anywhere. It seems this has only happened since the iPhoto to Photo conversion.....?

<<I have uploaded photos from my iPhone 6 plus to my Mac.>>

May I assume you used Photos to do so? In fact: you chose Import... from the Photos/File menu

Or did you use either Image Capture or even iPhoto?

<<I want to take the pictures from my Mac and upload an album to Facebook.>>

OK, but first we need to ascertain where these pictures are.

If they are uploaded to Photos, do you see a difference between Photos (at the top - you'll see the number of items at the bottom of the screen)

and All Photos, immediately under the heading Albums, where I see the number of items at the top right of the screen?

It would be great if you updated your information 'My Products' in your profile. I'm quite sure you're no longer running Mountain Lion.

The media browser can be slow to update - restarting Photos or Safari (or the Mac) will usually force and update - tell Apple about this as they need to address it - https://www.apple.com/feedback/photos.html
