Q: why is the wrong person getting my messages

why is it that my messages going to another person in my family. I have an iphone 5s, my husband has the same, but my daughter my old iphone 5. i know it has something to do with imessages. i tried to turn off imessages but it didn't work

iPhone 5s, iOS 8.4.1

    Stop sharing Apple IDs. They are not meant to be shared. Every individual should have their own. Also, if you're going to use a shared computer for multiple people's iDevices, make sure each individual has their own user account on the computer and make sure you're logged into yours before connecting your device.
