Aug 31, 2015 2:58 AM in response to Tomnjo15by Jan Hedlund,This is what an earlier (archived, last modified July 17, 2013, apparently no longer available) Apple support article had to say about resetting the Power Management Unit (PMU) for iBook G4 models:
- If the computer is on, turn it off.
- Reset the power manager by simultaneously pressing and then releasing Shift-Control-Option-Power on the keyboard. Do not press the fn (Function) key while using this combination of keystrokes.
- Wait 5 seconds.
- Press the Power button to restart the iBook computer.
If the above does not help, do you hear any sounds from the computer?
Any change if you carefully try to move the DC plug?
