Q: When I try to launch iTunes for the first time, it stops working.

I recently reformatted my hard drive because of issues that I had. Now that it is setup up again, I wanted to download iTunes and import all of my songs again. When I try to launch it after the download, a window pops up and says it has stopped working. So i click on the "search online for a resolution" and it works for about one second and closes. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the program and still having the same issues.
