Yes, in a smaller company there are less people.

I don't sure about real amount, so I guess around 500 people. Can you call this amount big?

So far I known, we don't sell Apple stuff.

I did send a few emails, hopefully I will get a good respond.

If you go back to the first page and read the answer that was marked "Solved", Varjak Paw said, "GSX accounts are available only to authorized Apple resellers and service centers. Do you work for one of those?" So do you work for one of those?

Yes, I  did see the "Solved" mark, but I can still ask the questions?

Maybe the company is one of them, maybe both. I'm not sure about this. Or it is called with another name.

So far I do know, we do not have a store to sell directly to people.

I want to know if other people have the same problem about this. To contact people who are in same world.

Can I ask you the same question?: Do you and others, work for an authorized Apple reseller nor service center?

    No.

These forums are for people who use Apple computers and volunteer to help other people use their Apple computer.

    That is all.

Can you call this amount small? It is not easy when you don't known the persons.

There was no name, email address, phone number or department listed.

Website is used and needed for a kind of supporting tasks.

They say I can use the tool, but without account this is difficult. Before somebody else must do the ´problem´ products.

So they decide to create an account for myself, but without given the login data.

I received the verification email and a lot of unasked password reset emails.

Meanwhile, I got stuck on the ``approval is pending´´-message. I did wait a few days and still nothing.

No contact info is mentioned. Nothing about where approval is send to. No time/duration is mentioned.

It is better to leave IT department away. Most ``crafts´´ in the system have limited use, or few days later does not work at all.

Maybe you do recognize these things: Installing a printer or application are already difficult for them.

Performing a software update is impossible. You get a menu when you call them by phone.

Or must go via request tickets. They do not show or came in a break.

Update: I find the ``funny´´ person, take this one by the sleeve and let see the ``approval is pending´´-message.

Even after login again, it doesn't take the given account number. Then called somebody at level of managers to let solve it.

That wasn't so hard? Now finally, I can continue.

GSX accounts are ONLY available to employees that work for companies that are Apple product resellers or official repair sites. Does your company qualify as either one of those?

Some coworkers have, use, need such an account. Then can we assume that the company is one of those. So, yes.

Where do you known these whereabouts from, if you don't work as one of those?

It's a question. I don't use Apple computers. I may touch Apple products and found a way here.

Where do you and other people here, known these whereabouts from, if you don't work for an authorized Apple reseller nor service center?

We don't have an answer for you. We are volunteers. I do not work for Apple. You need to talk to the responsible person in your company and the company has to be an Apple authorized company. We cannot help you - it does not matter how often you ask.

    Good luck.

It is easy to search using Google and within Apple's site to learn about GSX accounts. I also have service done at an Apple Authorized Service Provider (and reseller) and asked them about it. I'm not sure if there is a language problem or you just don't understand but the company you work for has to be an Apple Authorized Service Provider (AASP) and/or and Apple Authorized Reseller in order to have a GSX account. If you company is an Enterprise user of Apple computers there is a different program available for support.

If you are just an individual wanting to have a GSX account that is not possible. So if your company does not resell Apple computers to the public or businesses, or does not repair Apple computers for businesses or the public then you are not eligible for a GSX account.

    Does that explain it?

Apparently you do not understand what we are saying:

We cannot help in this case. Your company has to be an AASP or authorized Reseller and you need to speak to the person in your company responsible for this.

    @babowa and @deggie,

You both are clear about this.

You did help me. Especially deggie, (s)he gave the helpful suggestion. Thank you.

Do you understand, if you ask me a question and/or give a reply, you can get questions too?

I don't know if the company is an Apple Authorized Service Provider (AASP) and/or Apple Authorized Reseller (AAR).

Maybe the company has given another title and may use this title.

With this title or being an AASP and/or AAR, the company can access GSX. So, then yes.

I just want to know how you get this info.

Again, deggie gave us this info. Apple is very close about giving such info.

About topic title: They only told me that I need one.

In a large company it's difficult to find the persons who are responsible for this. They don't walk around with some marker...

Also the submitted application form always says is pending, but not where it was sended too and who is assigned to job as account manager.

I came here and got a quick respond on my question. Problem is solved.

You need to find someone with the company you work for that would have this information.
