Q: How should I uninstall printer drivers in Yosemite?
I was recently gifted a Dell 1720dn laser printer, and then I realized that Dell does a rubbish job of creating/updating Mac drivers for their printers. I spent a solid day Googling the issue and installing drivers for all manner of other printers and reseting the printer system for each one. I probably added a solid 100mb-200mb of nonsense to my poor MBA, where space is at a premium, before calling it quits. How do I get rid of all of that? I'm running Yosemite, and I wasn't sure if the previous answers to similar questions on this board addressed the new OS.
(Bonus points if you can point me to a driver that will actually work. I've used the default driver, the postscript drivers, and drivers for the 1720n, 1710n, 1710, 2330, GIMP, and probably a couple more I can't remember.)
MacBook Air, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)
