It sounds like you're trying to transfer contacts and other data from your HTC phone to your new iPhone. The following Knowledge Base article offers up some great help for making the transition:
Move content from your Android phone to iPhone - Apple Support
Mail, Contacts, and Calendars
iOS supports several email providers, including Google, Exchange, Yahoo, and more. So you can likely use the same email, contacts, and calendars that you have now.
You can move your email, contacts, and calendars to your iPhone in a few ways.
Add email accounts
If you have multiple email accounts or use a different email address for your Apple ID, you can still get your email, contacts, and calendars on your iPhone. Just add each email account to your iPhone, and choose to include your contacts and calendars.
Or when you set up your iPhone for the first time, you can use your existing email account for your Apple ID. During the setup process, you can choose to include any contacts, calendars, or notes that are associated with that email account.
Use an app
If you saved your contacts and calendars to your Android phone, you can usually move them to your iPhone with a data-transferring app. Many apps can even transfer your data over Wi-Fi, so you won't need to connect your phone to a computer. You can find several data-transferring apps on the Apple App Store and Google Play store, depending on your country. Here are some examples of data-transferring apps:
Just go to the App Store on your iPhone, find the app you want to use, and install it. If you also need to install the app on your Android phone, download it from the Google Play store. The app will walk you through the steps to transfer your contacts and calendars.
Sign in to social media
If you store your contacts and calendars in a social media account like Facebook, Twitter, or Weibo, you can use the apps to get them on your iPhone. Follow these steps:
- Go to the App Store on your iPhone and install the Facebook, Twitter, Sina Weibo, Tencent Weibo, or other social media app.
- Go to Settings, and tap Facebook or Twitter.
- Sign in with your account name and password.
- Turn on Calendars and Contacts.
