Sorry I don't really know how to create a discussion, can we continue it here please? No hardware modifications have been made and yes my optical drive does function correctly.

CampTune is a good application; however, there is a problem.  If the user elects to install System 7, the BootCamp requires a partition.  As you know, the partition is the wrong format.  So, the next step is attempt repair with CampTune and here are the results:

"Camptune X has fond an invalid Boot Camp configuration one of our disks, where GPT and MBR don't correspond to each other.  Usually, this type of problem occurs when an additional service partition has been created during installation of Windows OS . . . Click Continue to fix the issue.

There's a green check indicating that it is repair, but it is not.  I've contacted Paragon about this issue.

You cannot use a USB to install Windows. Create a physical DVD and use the Optical drive to install Windows. Your Mac does not support Windows via USB.

Unmount the DVD before starting BC Assistant. Do not eject it. Leave it in the drive. Run BCA and check if it recognizes the DVD.

    1. Remove your personal information, if necessary.

    2. You have a 'BURN' icon. The DVD is not finalized yet. What happens if you click on the burn icon?

    3. Can you describe the steps to creating this DVD or point to a link on the Apple support web site?

    1. i dont get it, what personal info? where is it?

    2. that burn icon was some folder on desktop, i dont know what it is but its empty and when i click it, some message pop up says insert a blank disk, i personally think that the DVD is finalized but who am i to say, so what should i do to finalize it?

    3. this was my direction for burning the ISO to DVD from google

So, to burn an ISO image to disc, here's what to do:

    1. Insert a blank disc.
    2. Start Disk Utility.
    3. From the File menu, choose Open Disk Image and select the ISO to be burned.
    4. In the list of volumes, you will now see an item representing the ISO file. Select it.
    5. Click the Burn button and follow the instructions.

    1. Look at the top right corner of the screen image. It has your full name. If you do not mind leaving it on your screen shot.

    2. In DU during the burn, did it ask you for Burn Rate and Verify after Burn settings?
