Q: Mag Safe 2 Adapter not charging Macbook pro (no light)

Mag Safe 2 adapter is not charging (no green or any light ) my macbook pro 15" retina display (mid 2014), other Mag safe 2 chargers are working.

I've tired a number of options including the SMC reset. Is there a way to repair the charger?

the charger was working fine, plugged it in and no light or charge.
