Jun 30, 2015 3:41 AM in response to Suppavillinby Lawrence Finch,There are no "Apple People" around. This is a user to user technical support forum. And this thread has covered just about every solution known, multiple times over. So you can probably learn something by reading it.
If the problem occurs only with one network, and it works on other networks, the problem is most likely your router. Try rebooting it. You can also try resetting Your iPhone by holding the HOME and SLEEP buttons at the same time until an Apple logo appears.

Jun 30, 2015 1:46 PM in response to Lawrence Finchby Suppavillin,I have read the entire thread sir. And as everyone else with this issue, those fixes do not work. Its not our routers, its the phone. By reading the thread, I have came across your posts multiple times as well. A tip for you to save your self time....no use in posting anymore to this thread, those fixes u mention do not work but thank you very much for trying to help.

Jul 3, 2015 9:47 AM in response to Suppavillinby michael@d-39326,Had the same issue. Read a lot of forums and tried all the suggested fixes to no avail. Found the solution in a combination of two fixes: 1 Reset the network settings (Settings >>> General >>>Reset >>> Network settings) 2 Select "Other" in the Network (do NOT use your network if shown in the list of available networks!), put the SSID same as your router's, select the appropriate protocol from the menue, enter the password and join! Hope this will help!

Jul 3, 2015 3:06 PM in response to michael@d-39326by Kip Wylie,Interesting... I fought this "incorrect password" no wifi for 5-6 months and finally was forced to just give up and purchase a brand new dual-band router for my home. I then set the iPod touch 5th gen to ONLY access the 5ghz half of the dual band. Fairly crappy weak connection, but it's functional. If all else fails, and you already have a dual band, try my solution.

Jul 9, 2015 10:47 PM in response to Msburttby MarineJ69,I just got my iPhone 6 this afternoon and when I got home had the same issue as described by everyone else in this thread. Tried resetting network settings, turning off the phone, etc. then I saw someone's suggestion to power cycle my wifi router (unplug for a minute or so). I'm happy and relieved to report that this did the trick. Good luck all!

Jul 10, 2015 1:37 PM in response to MarineJ69by arangofrommiami,For some of us, resetting the router is not an option. I am traveling in Europe and almost nowhere my iphone6 connects to wifi (says incorrect password), but my husband's iphone6+ connect to wifi everywhere. And when I went to the apple store for service advise, the wifi connection there operated (I suppose the have their wifi router fixed). I am still expecting a solution for my iphone, because the problem is there, not in the routers that allow other iphones connect correctly. I felt ashamed because nobody belive me

Jul 22, 2015 8:25 AM in response to Msburttby mitocas,ok, I did'nt read all the awsers but if any said that the problem it's the encryption your network uses, that one is right.. to be able to conect to a "secure" wifi, your wifi can't be configured with WEP2 Personal or Enterprise encryptations or anything even better then that.. so put a lesser encryption like None or WEP.
Hope it helps.

Jul 28, 2015 1:47 PM in response to Msburttby wisemantech,Hi everyone,
I just experienced the same frustrating issue, and I have been successful in fixing it for myself. this was my second day having the iphone 6 so it's interesting that most of you guys have had it fairly new as well. This is how i did it: i did mostly everything that was said by all of you except restoring the phone, buying a new router, buying a new phone, resetting the wifi password, calling, those time consuming tasks. For me, there was no need to, so it is possible to fix it without doing those. i know you guys got all of those apps, music, photos, accounts, and what not, I can relate. I want everyone to try this and see if it helps any or fixes the problem. i sure hope it does because it worked for me.
first i "forgot" the network. then i turned my wifi off. then i reset the network settings. then i went to my router and unplugged everything, i just had 2 ethernet cables and the power cable. then i waited for about a minute and placed them back in. as i did that, i found the small red reset button on it and pushed it with a pen (my router had this). then i reset/rebooted the phone by holding the home and power button. as it powered back on, i turned the wifi back on and found my own wifi. When it pops up do not connect to it just yet. Many of you say your other devices connect to it, so use one of them, look at the wifi info on that device and type that info (for me i just typed the DNS and Search Domains) and then, connect to the wifi. enter your password, and hopefully it can do the trick and connect.
This worked for me guys. if it doesnt for you, i wish you luck. use your brains, have patience, you are not alone.
ps for those who are not at home and are having the wifi issue with public wifi networks around you, best wishes. that must be aggravating. hopefully apple does something. heads up to apple, dont wait until iphone 6s to fix it! cant make everyone happy, but theres no harm in trying.

Aug 7, 2015 9:57 PM in response to Msburttby Hermantset,I don't know if you've fixed it or not or if someone already mentioned this idea. But I had the same issues and I solved it by resetting my network settings and then turning off W-Fi calling and haven't had any issues thus far. Also I noticed that Wi-Fi calling has caused quite a few issues recently as numerous people kept on getting BSODs with it on. Worth a try.

Aug 11, 2015 6:12 PM in response to bkc250rby mruehle,This may be more of a router issue than an iPhone issue. My Xfinity router was set to MAC: Allow All, but it was still blocking some devices. The iPhone was one, but it also blocked an Epson printer the same way...

Sep 5, 2015 12:33 AM in response to Msburttby SkyiPhone17,Hey Everyone,
Thanks all for sharing the problem, we all know how frustrating it is when you know that the wi-fi password is correct but your iPhone refuses.. and all the other devices can connect without any issues..
Anyways, same as many of you, I have tried majority of things like resetting network settings, forgetting and reconnecting to the network, resetting the phone to out of box though iTunes, spending few hours on phone with apple support, resetting router password. I have tried it at home in the UK as well as other locations like fried's places, coffee shops, hotel lobby, and the place I currently live at. The routers are all different - mostly new models - from standard router provided by Skyand BT, Linksys, Belkin and Netgear etc.
I would fail to connect to all location apart from, and here is the interesting bit, only some locations which are 'open' and the password needs to be entered after on a web browser e.g. managed to connect to Heathrow Wi-Fi as I was flying in and out - strange... Has anyone else had this?
As I am away from home and at a rental place I have limited options of playing with router setup so can't change or reconfigure it easily. Having said that, I will give it a go this weekend as I believe obtaining the router config password is fairly easy.
I have limited options to visit apple shop too as I am away and also unfortunately I have purchased the phone refurbished. There is still a warranty but its in the UK and I am away for significant time.. the dealer would still replace the phone but how can I be sure that the new one will not have the same issue?
The other thing frustrate me is that the Apple support as well as the senior support member both would refuse to recognize that they have ever heard this issue back in Aug 2015, where as this problem with the phone or the software is there atleat from almost one year..
Some people argue that following lots of steps etc may solve the issue, but the question is why do one even has to do it one year down from when the problem was recognized?
This is my first iPhone and so far I am liking it apart from wi-fi issue, I really don't want to get pushed back to Samsung, which I loved too...
Thank you all in advance..
