Q: Change Graphics card boot order

How do I change the default graphics card on a 2008 Xserve 2.1 from the default Radeon X1300 to the newly installed Nvidia GT220 running OSX 10.7.5. In System Profiler the X1300 shows first not the Nvidia.

Thanks for any help

Not sure if kexts load alphabetically, but in the days of System 7 and init conflicts adding a "z" in front of the name of an errant control panel would demote it to the end of the queue and a space " " would promote it to the front. I can't remember which kexts are loaded for the X1300 video card as my Xserve2,1 is running Mavericks which no longer has drivers for it (I only ever connect the X1300 to a monitor if I need to use the boot screen, an HD 7950 runs both my displays under normal use), but in in /System/Library/Extensions/ there should be an "AMDRadeonX2000.kext" and a variation with "GLDriver" in the name, along with "AMD1300Controller.kext", perhaps with ATI instead of AMD? May just be barking up the wrong tree though :-)
