Q: gopro playback jitters

I have a gopro hero 3+ black... Playback now is jittery ... any fixes please

iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2012), iOS 8.3

    I experience jitter on the film footage on playback, be it in Quickitime, Final cut Pro, or Gopro Studio. (These files are the original direct transfer files from the  SD card onto the desktop)

     

    I noticed the latest OS X update was to resolve issues with Gopro files...

     

    I've had this issue for two weeks now, and it seems to have got worse. Even my earlier work now seems to have jitter on playback - This is why I believe it is a  Imac issue

     

    Prior to that everything was fine...

    I have a new Lexar 633X Class 1o 32Gb SD card --- No difference. 

    Only cure seems to place the files in another editor and use Apple Pro Res 422 to recover the situation... Only problem is the files are 3 -4 times larger and take several hours to finalise. I should not need to do this..
