Q: How do I use Electronic iTunes Gift Card in Mac App Store?

I cannot seem to redeem my gift card because there is no code for it, since it is an electronic gift card. It was purchased through iTunes, but I want to use it in the Mac App store.

    It sounds like you have a gift card that is going to redeem to your iTunes Store account and you want to use it with the Mac App Store.

     

    Use the steps in this article to redeem your iTunes Gift Card - Redeem and use iTunes Gift Cards and content codes - Apple Support

     

    When you redeem it to your account in iTunes that balance is attached to your account which you may use in both the Mac App Store and the iTunes Store.
