Sep 8, 2015 2:21 PM in response to richard96by JBS-GUY,★HelpfulIf you are trying to figure out who the person is who is sending you the texts, the only identification is the imessage email address or the phone number that they have texted you from. If you have them as a contact they should show up automatically. If you are getting lots of random texts and you don't want to receive texts from them anymore, you can either block their number or a good thing to turn on is filtered texts but that's only for iOS 8 but I see you have a 4. If you want to know how you show up to new people go to messages in settings > ssend and receive > and choose your default for new conversations.

Sep 8, 2015 2:22 PM in response to richard96by richard96,well I might have the answer. I think that you need to have the cell number of the person in your contacts. The one I got with the info I do have in my contacts and it showed her name and initials at the end of message.
