Q: iphone 5s cannot keep a call going just stops

From your question it sounds like while you are on a phone call, the call experiences an issue where you cannot hear the other person and they cannot hear you, almost as if the call has dropped.
If this is the case, I would suggest troubleshooting the microphone and/or receiver on your iPhone using the articles attached below.

If my understanding of the situation is incorrect and the calls are actually dropping, I would suggest reading over and working through the steps in the next attached article.
