Q: Can I change the auto-lock time on Apple Watch?

I am a nurse and I use my apple watch daily!  Only issue when it comes to taking a quick BP the watch goes black as I'm looking at the second hand on the face of the watch.  In the new update or the one that is current is there a way to change the auto-lock time?

In the new version of the Watch software (WatchOS 2, due to be released on 16 September), there's an option to set the time quite a bit longer - 70 seconds,.

    Under watchOS 1.0.1:

    - If you you wake the display from sleep either by tapping the display or by pressing the Digital Crown, it will stay awake for up to around 18 seconds.

    - If you wake it using Activate on Wrist Raise, it remains awake for 6 seconds.
