Q: Install Windows 7; keyboard mouse unresponsive during installation

Hi all,

I am trying to install Window 7+SP1 X64 on my iMac 21.5 inch 2.7 GHz with OSX Yosemitee 10.10.5 and bootcamp 5.1.4.

I followed all the steps as stated bij apple (so select al three options, e.g. make install disk, download windows software and install Windows 7 or higher, and yes, also a USB 2.0 flash disk) and get stuck at the windows installer screen where you have to select language etc. Problem: mouse and keyboard (tried bluetooth and wired) unresponsive. I found several tips on this forum, but they do not work for me : MBA Mid 2013 - Bootcamp Windows 7 - Changing Partitions - What a mess!  MacBook Air 2013 Windows 7 freezes during installation

iMac 27 5K Bootcamp no keyboard or mouse

I know the problem is driver related (e.g. USB 3.0). Funny thing is that I can get into Windows Safe Mode bij pressing F8 during boot in windows, so the keyboard /mouse drivers are not working in the install mode.

I could use some help

Sincerely
