Q: Install Windows 7; keyboard mouse unresponsive during installation

- Still stuck at same point:blue windows window to select language etc.

- iMac, 21.5 inch, late 2013

- downloading drivers right now; will report in few days, going abroad..

Back in town.

You can download drivers from System requirements to install Windows 7 and earlier on your Mac using Boot Camp - Apple Support to a separate USB, and replace the $WinPEDriver$ directory on the current USB with this one and test.

So, replaced WinPEDriver directory. Allas, no succes. Lastly gonna Replace bootcamp directory

I think I am gonna try Win 10 directly.

Replaced WinPEDriver and are also Bootcamp directories (from System requirements to install Windows 7 and earlier on your Mac using Boot Camp - Apple Support) and put them on USB. Still no working keyboard/mouse on Windows 7 install screen (not even after reset SMC and NVRAM)

TX for help, but I could not get it to work. I installed Win 10 Ultimate, it went flawless. Even my BT mouse/keyboard worked during installation. So maybe bootcamp no longer supports Win7 install, I don't know. Anyway, thanks for the help!
