Q: Need to Move Calendar Service to Another Yosemite Server

I want to move our calendar service and all its related data from one server running Yosemite server to a different server also running Yosemite (both same version - 10.10.3). Has anyone had success with doing this completely at the server level? I want to be able to shut down the calendar service, move everything to a different server, redirect the DNS to point to the new server and start up the new server with calendar service running and all the clients be able to connect to it and see all their calendars. That's not too much to ask, is it?

The new server is an OD replica of the current server so all the user and group ids should be the same. Please let me know if you have had success doing this and where you found instructions on how to do it.

Thanks.

Dave.

All the data of the Calendar service is contained in the folder /Library/Server/Calendar and Contacts. Although I haven't tried it myself, I'd think that you could shut down the service on both hosts, copy that folder over (taking care not to change the permissions), and then reboot.
