Sep 11, 2015 4:59 AM in response to léonieby Winston Churchill,I think the OP might be referring to the new prices which are lower than the current prices (at least in the US), I'm not sure when they begin or whether the £ 2.99 the OP quotes is correct as a new price, I don't know whether the reductions apply to the US only or what.

I just wanted to point out the conversion rates for the prices have always been in favour of the US: US $ prices in the United States have been charged in pounds in England and in Euro in the other countries of European Union. We always had to pay a lot more this side of the pond. Not just for iCloud but for books, cards, etc. as well. And the price changes are not yet effective according to Apple's published prices on the support pages.
