Q: the music just stops

MY 6th gen Nano stops playing while I'm running. I don't have this problem when it's plugged into the car. Can't find a troubleshooting reference. Suggestions?

Hi glbrandt955,

I'm sorry to hear you are having these issues with your iPod nano. If you are having issues with your music stopping intermittently during active activities, you may want to double-check the headphone connection, and/or test with another set of headphones if possible. Issues with the headphone connection can cause the music to stop, as noted in the following article:

My ipod that I just bought just stops playing a couple of seconds into the song I have troubleshot the headphones and that is not the issue. I have restored the ipod and it is still doing it.

It's very frustrating. I'm thinking I should just return it.
