Q: Show folders and files from MacBook Air on Mac Mini

Hi all,

looking for some help and advice on setting up file sharing between my MacBook Air and Mac Mini.

I've had my Macbook Air for a number of years and when needed proof a lot of work tasks from it. I currently have a lot of folders from work set up on in in Finder containing everything from pictures to PDF's and MS Office Docs.

I now have a Mac Mini for the house for my wife and I to use as a home computer.

What I want to be able to do it set up a "mirror" between the two macs so if I work on a folder or update it etc on the road then it will be automatically edited / added on the Mac Mini when I am connected to the internet.

I hope that this can be done when both are online (not always on the same internet network) - someone I spoke to had a feeling this could be done via iCloud?

Ultimately I want to set up both my wife and my accounts from the macbook to be identical on the Mac Mini - down to the layout of icons, desktop image and appearance etc.

I look forward to your replies.

Many thanks in advance.

Sam
