Sep 11, 2015 3:00 PM in response to Mak2melby Ralph9430,When you say "money on my credit card" you really mean a Debit card then that's the problem. Debit cards are not on the Accepted forms of payment list. You wouldn't be charged for the update but the way your Apple ID is set up you do need an acceptable form pf payment to be in the account.
The available payment methods vary by country. You can typically use these methods:
- Credit cards
- Content codes
- Store credit, including iTunes Store Gift Cards, Gift Certificates, and Allowances
- ClickandBuy
- PayEase
- PayPal
- UnionPay (requires SMS PIN for setup)

Sep 11, 2015 9:28 PM in response to Ralph9430by Sissysthumb,I don't think that's what was meant. I know in my case, it is my credit card and the "no money" refers to there being no credit on the card as the limit has been reached.
