Q: Upgrade a 13" Early 2011 MBP to Windows 10 from Windows 8.1

I know my mac isn't under Apple's "supported by Windows 10" list, but I'm wondering if anyone has had any problems or success upgrading to Windows 10 from 8.1 on a 13" Early 2011 MBP. Thanks!

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.2)

it's almost the same without $WinPEDriver$ and AutoUnattended.xml but i think this is because i didn't download the bootcamp drivers via BCA

Seems like it wasn't formated the proper way . . . i will format it under DiskUtility and then make it bootable again with the Win10 ISO I'll start allover the process and come back with a status update

Can you download BCA drivers and make the structure similar? We also need to change your MBR on the USB and then try.

I do not use Skype. . This should still work. You may also want to remove your Skype ID from a public forum. It is an invitation for SPAM and Skype is worse for controlling your machine.

    Thank you for the tip,

Let us modify the one that you already have. . Download the BC Drivers using the Download option and add them to the USB. Make sure   the USB is a USB2, with FAT. We can manipulate the MBR with Gdisk.

Did you just format your entire HDD for Windows?

When you install Windows using EFI boot, the EFI partition is modified to contain Microsoft pieces. Please see Can't resize Macintosh HD partition for the EFI-related discussion. If you do not have Windows anymore, see the steps to remove the Microsoft parts.
