Q: Unresponsive Desktop
Not sure if anyone else has experienced this, but I just got a new MacBook Pro retina, 13 in. It's been working fine, but last night I turned it off and this morning turned it back on, logged into my account and tried using the different apps e.g., safari or finder or chrome. It would open, but after that the spinning wheel would just appear and that would be that. I tried to force quit, but that would also take a very long time and after it did pop up, everything was stated to be unresponsive. I did the diagnostic tests and results said everything was ok, I also spoke to representatives from apple and they tried the verify and repair the disk permissions, which seemed to work for a little bit, but then the same problem arose. In the end, the representative said that it was most likely because of the account on my MacBook...which I'm not really too sure how that would affect the MacBook as a whole (anyone got any ideas/explanations?? Really curious). I made a new account just to test it out, and it seemed to be the solution, but in the end I just did a factory reset and everything seems to be going smoothly...so far. Anyone else have/had this problem?
