Q: How to boot into OS X when stuck in boot camp startup
I have been searching everywhere but.....
My computer was on my windows side. I went out to run some errands, so I left the computer on uploading a File. I didnot plug the charger so the computer died. When I started the computer back up it logged into my Mac side no problem. I had to do something on the windows side, so I restarted, pressed the option/alt but nothing happened. So I went to startup utility to start in windows. Worked. Then I attempted to shutdown the computer. Restart it only to be logged back into windows. But now all I get is "starting windows" and nothing. I've tried every command key. I've tried resetting the smc and pram/vram. I've tried cmnd + r , tried the shift bar, tried every freaking command key I could find. The most any of those command keys do is bring me to the "windows boot recovery" but it only gives me the windows oS. Tried booting into safe mode, system hangs. Tried repair, hangs.
So at this point I'm assuming a I need to reinstall everything but how can I save my files? Is there a master key combination to get into my Mac side, or command prompt or something!!??
thank you
