In order to help resolve this issue where you're no longer receiving email from your Hotmail account in Mail on your iPad, I'd like you to please follow the steps outlined in hte article below.

I have the same issue as the user above, my email was fine, but the next morning wouldn't download the new messages - it starts too and then it stops. The steps provided in that link didn't resolve the issue for me, not sure if it worked for person who posted above. The article doesn't address why this is only happening on my iPhone. There's no issues with my email using browser or mail software on my computer, nor is it an issue on my iPad. So why is it happening on my iPhone?

Apr 28, 2016 4:36 PM in response to Anon3321by hrdzg,Sign in to hotmail wich now is Outlook mail, on the upper right corner there´s the settings icon, click it, then Connected accounts, on the left side click POP and IMAP, in POP options activate Let devices and apps use POP and on top click Save, and thats it, this worked for me.
