Q: Where have my iTunes Radio custom stations gone?

I am a paying iTunes Radio customer who upgraded iTunes to version 12.2 yesterday and now today my customized iTunes Radio stations are completely gone. I can't seem to make any new radio stations that will persist. I can only make custom stations from music that I already own which defeats the purpose. Even then the newly created radio stations simply disappear after I create them. Where have my stations gone?

Why did I update? I know better. I've been using Macs since the beginning and they are just getting further away from their roots. I might have to revert my iPhone to a back up. This update got rid of the two best features... remote and custom stations.

Have to say I agree 100%. Been with Apple for nearly 20 years, and ALWAYS update. Not this time. It's iTunes 12.1 for me until Apple listen, and, after the ridiculous amount of cash they paid for Beats, they probably won't be listening anytime soon, I guess I'll have to find something else.  For the first time, my iPhone has the little red 1 telling me there's a software update available ind I'm not doing it.

    Pretty dumb, Apple.

go to either view > More > Internet Radio (or cmd+9), or click the 3 dots on the left side below the playback buttons. There you'll find the Internet Radio. If you want to add the Internet Radio Icon for fast access click EDIT and activate the checkbox.

TThanks for that, but it's no help. the discussion is about iTunes Radio, not internet radio. Not the same thing.

Agree completely.  Not ANY new station can be created either. I

tried creating a Beatles station, like I had before and Apple

    MUsic wouldn't let me.

Well, was hoping that some of the functionality would be brought back that we lost recently, but I was mistaken.  Updated to latest iTunes 12.2.2.25 and IOS 8.4.1 and now the remote app doesn't even have any radio functionality at all, iRadio, or the new stupid beats it's all gone, the remote app only see's your music now, stations are now completely gone.  It was so nice that I could sit in the back yard, and using the remote app it could control iTunes running on my PC and it would stream directly to my airplay stereo without needing to stream iRadio directly from my iPhone or iPad so I could still use the device without killing my battery or if I'm walking around and loose wifi everything still played great.  All gone now folks... I'm so ****** off.

I agree with everyone here.....The handling of Radio in Apple Music is awful.  They had something really nice going with their previous radio implementation and the stations, the ability to create them, tune them with additional artists, etc....and it's all gone and the end-user control has been mostly removed except for being able to slightly influence what's played.  It's a really bad plan and hopefully they revise the approach in some positive way with the app changes expected with iOS 9.

GGetting Apple to listen is notoriously hard, but we need to try. Not sure about iOS, but on OS X, in the iTunes menu there is a feedback option. We should use it. I have.

Brilliant! Thank you. That did it and I don't have to revert back to old iTunes. Cannot thank you enough!

As an apple user since 1984, it's been increasingly frustrating when they change (ruins) a good thing but never really tell you how to find/fix the issue. After some digging, i did find a solution, which is pretty simple. Works for iTunes on macs, phones and tablets.

    http://www.imore.com/how-create-personalize-and-find-your-apple-music-radio-stat ions

It worked perfectly. I wish i knew about it before spending time digging around (and almost reinstalling version 12.1)

    -cheers

That article helps somewhat but doesn't solve the issue... and doesn't address radio stations that are completely removed from the "remote" app.

When you click on "Radio" notice how the recently played looks like this:  "Recently Played >" ?  The ">" means it's expandable.  Click on the text and it will expand to show all of your custom stations in the order they were last played.  Sorry, can't help with the editing or deleting but I though I would share.  Apparently we're all a little brain dead or something for missing something so easy.

I'm not brain dead. I didn't miss this, but it's no help. What if I want to add another station?  What if I haven't played a station recently?
