Q: Restore to ios 9 from public beta

Hi! I enrolled my iPhone 5C for the IOS 9 public beta back in July and everything went well, but then in August my system (Win 10) with the backup had a critical problem which resulted to me to format my hard drive which also had my bakup. I am currently using IOS 9.1 beta. Now as IOS 9 has released I want to roll back to IOS 9 (non beta) without losing my data.

Can someone please help me out!

iPhone 5c, iOS 9, null

If you don't have a backup made before iOS 9.1 you won't be able to save any data.

Using Recovery Mode should get the phone to iOS 9.0 but that erases the phone and a 9.0 phone can't restore from a 9.1 backup.

If you have iCloud data, such as contacts, mail, and calendar, you will still be able to use that.

Why not stay on 9.1?  It should be close to 9.0.  The beta parts are probably iPad Pro support.

About iOS beta software - Apple Support

If you have an iOS beta version and want to download the final version, follow these steps:

Connect your device to iTunes. While your device is connected, force it to restart. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. Don't release when you see the Apple logo. Keep holding until you see the Recovery Mode screen. When asked, choose Update to download and install the latest nonbeta version of iOS.

An update install won't affect your content or settings.
