Q: How to determine Apple watch battery hogging app

I have an app on my watch that must be drawing down my battery power since my watch is running out of power very quickly and doesn't last for a day or two.

How do I determine which app is the culprit?

iPhone 5, iOS 6

If your battery life is only a few hours with no obvious cause based on your usage, then there may be an issue. For example, errors in Microsoft Exchange Calendars can seemingly cause battery drain - let me know if you use this, so I can suggest a solution.

Otherwise, it would not be unusual for your watch to benefit from nightly charging. Apple's goal was to deliver 18 hour battery life after an overnight charge, allowing for a mix of uses during the day (checking the time, receiving notifications, using apps, doing a workout whilst streaming music to Bluetooth headset).

If you remain concerned, you could try removing apps from your watch and monitoring to see whether battery life improves as a result.
