Q: game center broken in ios 9

Anyone else seeing this? I saw this during the beta but in the last beta it would actually load eventually. But now it doesn't do anything. Just sits on the white screen. It works perfectly fine on my iPad Mini 3, though.

iPhone 5s, iOS 9

Never used iFUNBOX, haven't used Test Flight. Anyone with this problem have an iPhone 6 or 6 Plus?

I've spoken to Apple support again.

    the re-install doesn't work

Logging out and logging back in doesn't work.

Logging out and in to another GC account doesn't work.

I logged in to my GC account from another pre IOS 9 phone and that worked.

Adding all this together shows that the issue is not with my GC account but in fact it is to do with the install of IOS 9 on my phone.

I have a call back set up with a senior Tec from Apple for tomorrow. They said he will go through it more in depth and will try to get some logs from my phone. I will update you with anything they find.

Yeah, I was able to log into my GC account on my iPad as well. I can't even get to the screen on my phone to log in or out (the Settings app freezes up when I try) so that's not an option to try.

I have the same issue as well. iPhone 5S, only iOS 8.4.1 on it before installing iOS 9 (no beta installations).

I tried the trick from a few years back of changing the date, as with another poster on this thread it didn't work. I've also tried simply being patient and waiting for GC to finally connect as another poster said, but even after 5 minutes the GC app never gets past the blank screen.

This is a bad bad bad problem. I really hope Apple releases a patch for this soon and doesn't just make us all wait for the iOS 9.1 update that I see is already in public beta.

I came back to IOS 8.4.1 and problem has gone.

Now I am trying to setup IOS 9 once again.

Why this problem is not so mass? and why apple did not fix it before in beta?

If this is software problem for new release apple will fix it during half an year, because not so many users

That's an interesting question. I used the beta and reported this issue using their Feedback app more than once. I expected it to remain broken during beta but expected it to be fixed by the final release.

I updated to iOS9 yesterday, from 9. Never tried the beta. Now Game center takes a very very long time to load. Also, when I'm in a game that uses game center, its now extremely slow and stutters. Grrrr..

    P.S. I'm on an iphone 6

Indeed I am seeing the same thing -- 5s that never was on beta, my wife's phone.  No really.  This is a problem.  Dragons to breed and all.

    I had the same problem.

However, if you wait a long time, Game Center will load. It is very slow, but it does load. Same with Settings (Game Center). It appears to freeze, but if you give it 5 minutes it does load.

It is still something very wrong, but at least my GC friends show up eventually.
