Q: IOS9 upgrade mobile data toggle not working

Hi - I have updated to IOS9 and i have tried to toggle the mobile/cellular data toggle on pages and numbers app from off to on - it goes straight back to off.

 

what might be the problem? or does anyone know how to fix?

 

i've reset network data and also turned phone off and on.

    I'm having the same issue.  The  "use cellular data toggle" won't stay on for Spotify, Apple Music, Wallet, and many other apps.  I originally thought it was only the apple apps that were affected but it's just random apps.  It's very frustrating and hoping there's a fix soon.  I have "use cellular data" turned on in all of the areas it should be, I've reset network settings, I've tried all of the tricks, still the issue is there.

    I live outside of USA In Dominican Republic and have the same issue,

     

    Right now i will have to downgrade to IOS8 in order to be able to have data on my cel

     

    Hope this problem is FIX soon by apple

    Im also have this toggle switch issue and it's quite annoying Apple needs to fix this asap.

    I Have an iPhone 6 Plus, my wife has an iPhone 6. She doesn't have the toggle issue at all. She's able to turn off/on any app within cellular data. I'm in Canada so the issue seems to be random and widesprea. Here's to hoping either Apple or someone can resolve this issue quickly As it's very frustrating to say the least

    HI all, I hope this may help, my wife has had the same problem, no mobile data. We looked up getting mobile data setting resent from network provider, but this still didn't fix, until I saw in the settings under username and password were blank.  found out to put WAP in both, light the fireworks, it worked.

     

    HOpe this may help some of you.

    WWhere were you looking under user name and password?  Where was this blank In your case?

    WWas under settings, mobile data then another level can't remember, but has all the settings for mms and Internet. Her's had 2 sections that had username and password, just put WAP in the top on and worked.

    I was having the same issue i did complete reset on my phone and using it like new. Now everything is working fine.

    There's gotta be another way, or workaround. I've got too much stored on my phone to have to reinstall apps and lose data. Sorry to hear you had to go that route

    I was also afraid of losing my data but didn't loss anything.

    Take the backup of your apps to iTunes so u don't have to download it again just install it from iTunes and backup your contact to your Id. I hope this will solve your issue.

    I am also having the same problem with the toggle not working. It's not random on my phone. I've found that it is any app I did not have cellualr data enabled before the update that won't toggle on now. Any app that had cellular data enabled works just fine. I can turn it on and off and it still works. It is just the apps that were disabled before the update that won't let me turn cellular data on now. I've tried the fixes from here (except the complete reset) and Google and still nothing. IIdiot particularly want to try a complete reset unless that is the only way.
