    Three things..

    1) You are running Yosemite which LP9 was never designed to work with plus newer OS X versions place greater loads on the hardware, reducing overall performance...

This is why many of us, who still can, run LP9 under 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard) because that is the most stable and best performing combination of OS X and Logic to date

    2) Read this Support Note

Logic 9.1.4 or later: Core Audio System Overload messages - Apple Support

...and pay particular attention to the section on Workflow Strategies, especially #1

    • Avoid having a Software Instrument track selected in the Arrange. When a Software Instrument track is highlighted, Logic must devote enough CPU resources to insure that anything you might play live into the track can be processed. When you are mixing, try to keep an Audio or classic MIDI track highlighted as you work. Only select a Software Instrument track at times when you are actually working with that particular track.

    3) Adjust the i/o Buffer size in Logic's preferences > Audio to greater amounts.. Start with 256 and see if that helps...  If it doesn't increase to 512.. If it helps then reduce it to the next lower amount (128) and see if you still don't get any further overloads.. Stick with what works best.

This is also documented in the Support notes above... under the Audio Driver Preferences section.
