Sep 17, 2015 9:51 AM in response to Thebeatfighter119by daffyduck7,Yesterday, when updating via iTunes, my 6 Plus froze on the opening splash screen (white screen, Apple logo) and every time I connected to iTunes it tried to restore and gave me error code 21. Eventually, I shut down iTunes and rebooted my Mac. After that I connected to iTunes again and it finally restored my device with iOS 9. Everything has been fine since then.
Not sure if you're experiencing the exact same thing, but may be worth trying.

Sep 17, 2015 10:30 AM in response to daffyduck7by Thebeatfighter119,unfortunately i already tried that, but with no succes. Restoring my iphone is no problem, but getting my previous back-up on ios 9 is. The only way i can get ios 9 on my phone is to erease all content and setting, but i really want my photes/apps back on ios 9 sure i can do it manually but still alot of photo's etc are missing than even when they are on icloud. Thanks for trying to help daffyduck7!

Sep 18, 2015 5:05 AM in response to Thebeatfighter119by dovfromil,I have exactly the same issue - I have been using the same backup to transition from all my iPhones since my iPhone 3G - never had to restore and start again from scratch until now. As a result, I downgraded back to iOS 8.4.1
I can install a fresh install of iOS 9 but as soon as I restore my backup i get stuck at the apple logo and i can hear my phone connecting and disconnecting continuously on my iMac. It seems the only way i can use iOS 9 is if i don't use my backup and stick with a clean install.
Id rather run iOS 8.4.1 that loose all of my stuff.
The problem is, what happens when apple stop signing iOS 8.4.1 considering that iOS 9 doesn't work at all!

Sep 21, 2015 1:52 AM in response to Thebeatfighter119by dovfromil,I dont think this is such a common issue. Doesnt seem to be discussed at all on the internet. I wonder if there is just a handful of people who are affected by this, in which case, apple probably wont ever fix it.
Im concerned that the only real solution will be to start from scratch and loose all of our stuff

Sep 21, 2015 5:03 AM in response to dovfromilby Thebeatfighter119,I think you are right . I really hope that apple will be fixing this problemen even when this problem isn't a common issue. For now i will keep my iphone on 8.4.1 and keep all my apps/photo's.
If someone finds a fix can you please post it here?
