Sep 17, 2015 10:02 PM in response to denisamirby sberman,I'm suggesting canceling out of the "log in to Game Center" request being made from the game. Doing this three times should suffice.

Sep 17, 2015 11:02 PM in response to sbermanby denisamir,Hello, sberman.
What you meen cancelling out of the "log in to Game Center" request being made from the game
Please, describe step by step?
As you understand in IOS 9 for many users (not for all users) game center works very very slow. It works, but very very slow!!!
If you recovery iPhone to stolen - GAME CENTER start to works GOOD, but after recovery BACKUP - problem appears again.
If I open the game I am waiting game center notification window very very long and cancel game before game center starts.

Sep 17, 2015 11:03 PM in response to denisamirby sberman,Since you don't seem to like Game Center, you must not be logged in. So when you start a game, you are asked to log into game Center. Simply refuse that request three times.

Sep 18, 2015 10:06 AM in response to sbermanby lazerbeamhawkins,Well, the 3 times trick did NOT work. But after hitting cancel somewhere around 15 times, it quit popping up (at least, it hasn't popped up today, fingers crossed). Hope this helps anyone else annoyed by this bloat ware.

Sep 18, 2015 1:42 PM in response to lazerbeamhawkinsby lazerbeamhawkins,Well, the issue is ongoing, I'm still getting prompted to log into Game Center. Hopefully there will be a future fix to disable this feature.

Sep 21, 2015 6:18 AM in response to asl1983by germolemur,This did not work for me. I have disabled game center notifications and cancelled multiple times in the same game, but still pops up every time I open it. Any other suggestions?

Sep 25, 2015 2:37 PM in response to germolemurby Petarian,Same problem. It's a phone not an online gaming device. This feature should not be mandatory. I dont want to connect with strangers to play a game. Nor do I want my kids to have this capability.
I cant seem to disable it. It pops up everything you open a game.

Sep 27, 2015 6:07 AM in response to lazerbeamhawkinsby Division,Well I seem to have just gotten the game center welcome back/sign in nag screen to turn off, which had been coming up every single time I minimized or restarted a game even though I was not signed in to it, and had it disabled in notifications.
I triple checked that I was signed out of game center, and I was. I pressed the "forgot apple ID" found in "settings-> game center" twice. Maybe three times. I did it a lot.
I fired up Uprising and bam, no more game center welcome screens.

Oct 8, 2015 11:52 PM in response to lazerbeamhawkinsby Spediteur,iOS 9 seems to have made this problem worse than any previous iOS version. Yes, this is an annoyance that we customers should not have to bear. Even canceling 3 times for every game which participates in Game Center is too much. But now even that doesn't seem to work, or if it does works it doesn't last. Each iOS update increment or app update restarts the Game Center prompts ad nauseum. That didn't used to happen in past iOS versions. t would like to reach into the device and rip out Game Center by its neck! I tried Division's suggestion to cancel out from the Settings but that did not work for me. Why do we have to put up with this, Apple? Stop telling us what we want and give us the choice to simply turn off Game Center permanently. Are you even listening?

Oct 27, 2015 2:04 PM in response to Spediteurby Spediteur,UPDATE: iOS 9.1 seems to have fixed the worsened problem caused by 9.0. The previous behavior seems to apply again - cancel 3 times and you never see the Game Center login again. This time, the effort sticks like before 9.0.
