Your monitor has inputs of
2 HDMI, 1 Display Port
Thus use a mini displayport>displayport cable with the mini displayport end going into the Mac's Thunderbolt port

Sep 18, 2015 4:29 AM in response to lllaassby RossMesa,The monitor doesn't have a display port in, it was a misprint on Amazon. Are you suggesting that the monitor can't support it's own native resolution, or that my Mac cannot support 21:9 using the thunderbolt port with a display port to HDMI?

Sep 18, 2015 12:40 PM in response to lllaassby RossMesa,Just 2 hdmi in and an audio out. I have a late 2012 Mac mini, and other threads suggest it can handle the resolution.

Sep 18, 2015 12:56 PM in response to RossMesaby lllaass,Yes the 2012 Mini can handle the resolution either by displayport/mini displayport monitor input or DVI monitor input with dual-link adopter. Not by HDMI
The HDMI port supports up to 1080p on HDMI connections. With the HDMI to DVI adapter, the HDMI port will work with resolutions up to 1920 x 1200. Mac Pro (Late 2013), MacBook Pro (Retina, Late 2013 and later), iMac (27-inch, Late 2013 and later), and Mac mini (Late 2014) also support 4k Displays.
