Sep 18, 2015 9:37 AM in response to rv309by OldGnome,Lovely. That likely means I am going to have to dig to find where to turn it off....unlike some of you, I do not want my cell phone ringing in my Halos.

Sep 18, 2015 9:44 AM in response to rv309by OldGnome,Neither did I.
This is another example of someone who doesn't use a device coming up with "a great idea" to make the device "even better."
I now have two "dummy" TruLink Memories that I use to prevent my Halos streaming audio to them. The only way to mute the "Audio" or "Phone" streaming is o create a memory that you can then mute.

Sep 18, 2015 10:22 AM in response to OldGnomeby DCKing22,Go to Settings, Accessibility, Hearing Aids, Hearing Aids play ring tones, and turn it off. All you need to do is look instead of complaining.
Audio Routing will turn off streaming phone and media.

I have been using the 'Halo' hearing aids and the TruLink app since well before ios 9 came out.
App and ios updates are made available at the same time across the country.
If you could provide a bit more detail re your issue perhaps I could be helpful e.g. What are you trying to do? What steps are you following? What happens when you take those steps.

Sep 18, 2015 2:09 PM in response to DCKing22by OldGnome,DCKing22 - that's exactly what I meant about having to dig. It's not in the application, it's in the operating system. So now, half of the functionality controls for my Halos are in Settings, the other half in TruLink.
Re: complaining - what did you think forums were for?

Sep 18, 2015 2:11 PM in response to gilda92by OldGnome,gilda92:
Go to Settings (it's the app that looks like nested gears), then to General, then to Accessibility and Hearing (it's toward the bottom of the list). There you can select Hearing Aids and find the Ringtone and Audio Routing controls. No, it's not terribly easy to find, unless you have already seen it once.

Sep 18, 2015 7:02 PM in response to irvfromnorth vancouverby gilda92,Hello irvfromnorth vancouver: I've been using Halo aids on iPhone for 9 months now. I have never received an update at the same time as many on this list. I do not believe everyone receives updates at the same time. On this list I have complained and been offered advice and have been very grateful the list exists. Starkey is not easily available. So good for you in Vancouver (I used to live there too) but here in Ontario some of us are still waiting to be invited to the ball.

Sep 18, 2015 7:06 PM in response to OldGnomeby gilda92,Thanks Old Gnome. I followed your instructions and found it. I think I will let the phone ring in the aids, when I am offered "9". (When they get to 666 I may refuse!)

Well now, I find that surprising. I had just made an assumpotion that there would be no reason to stagger the timing of updates and that therefore they weren't. Once again it turns out that the world doesn't function the way I thought it would, never mind how I think it should. It seems mostly indifferent to my assumptions and preferences.
Best of luck in snagging an invite to all future balls.

Sep 19, 2015 9:11 AM in response to irvfromnorth vancouverby OldGnome,The staggering of updates make sense when one considers there is a finite amount of bandwidth between all end users and the servers hosting the updates.

Oct 8, 2015 9:17 PM in response to rv309by gilda92,Not for me! No ringtones other than the phone. I'm now fully up to date on versions and still no ringtones for calendar reminders, messages or mail.
