Q: itunes Application Version:     12.3.0.44 crashes after update on windows 7 64 bit.

I have updated itunes on my win 7 64 bit laptop after updating my iphone 6 with ios 9 since it was recommended.

Now after update itunes is not opening with win message popping up as itunes has stopped working.itunes crash.jpg

don't know what to do as I've tried starting it in safe mode also but it failed.

Disconnected internet but of no use.

Can any one please suggest what to do!!!

    the workaround I've found is to uninstall new version and restore back to 12.2.2.25...

    it was a luck that I had its setup saved in my hardrive

    Saw somebody write you need a service pack 1 installed... but I don't think it will solve the issue...

    it is with the binaries of new version I believe....

    I am having the same issue and have tried just about everything except reinstalling my operating system. previous versions have the same issue and and unfortunately 32bit uninstalls itself on a 64bit OS. Have cleared the registry and started a fresh install but the issue continues. have searched online forums around the place and no one can shed any light on this one. Anyone got any ideas?
