Q: Open applications palette on secondary monitor

Hi all;

I just upped my memory (coincidental?) and now my open applications palette (command tab) appears on my secondary monitor instead of my main (iMac) screen. I don't always need to have the second monitor on so this is quite annoying since that palette stays with the second monitor even when it is off. I can't seem to drag it over and the systems prefs don't seem to provide options.

Hmmm . . .

iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5), 27", 2.7 gHz, 4gb RAM, 1tb HD

    The Application Switcher shows up on whatever display is showing the Dock.

    The Dock switches between monitors if you have Displays have separate Spaces in the Mission Control System Prefs. When you move the mouse cursor to the bottom of the display and leave it there, the Dock will appear on that display.

    Thanks Barney, that was it. Actually, I was about to post that the the situation corrected itself when I saw your response. I must have moved my mouse cursor to the bottom of my main screen at some time since my original post.
