Q: iOS9 ICloud Storage not clear and clicked ... which

led to my ipad being fine, but my Mac Book Pro having the following probs:

1 - no contacts at all (all are on ipad though). How do I move them back?

2 - safari bookmarks (correct on iPad). On Mac Book Pro have 100's going back years which I don't want?

Think I accidently clicked on icloud account. I only use icloud for calendar and "find my phone, ipad or computer" - nothing else, nor do I wish too. I don't know what to do to get the macbook pro back to normal.

I did do a back up to computer from ipad before downloading the new update last night. All seemed fine last night. This morning, different story.

Any ideas, suggestions, very welcome,

Thanks in advance,

Bel

Quit Contacts. In Safari on the computer, export all your bookmarks to the Desktop, then quit and relaunch Safari. Then try backing up the iPad again.

    Eric,

I've just replied to prior email. So you are saying quit contacts completely on Mac and export bookmarks to Desktop (but their are 100's and they go back years and years)....I'm sorry I have a disability and not quite understanding what you are trying to tell me to do. Maybe dot point would be best for me.

    Thanks for your help though,

    Belinda

    You are welcome.

No, I was referring to item 2 about having bookmarks you don't want.

For contacts, check at iCloud.com to see if the contacts are there. If they are, the problem is the computer. If they aren't the problem is the iPad.

If the computer, try going to System Preferences/iCloud and uncheck Contacts syncing. Wait a couple of minutes for the sync to break, then recheck the box to sync.

If the iPad, go to Settings and do the above by stop syncing and then resyncing.
