Q: Can't install Windows 10 from USB with Bootcamp
I am trying to bootcamp my Macbook Pro (mid 2014). I started by updating everything so I am running on Yosemite 10.10.5. I bought a Windows 10 (home) USB from the Microsoft store. I created an .iso file following the apple support instructions with the x64 link (Win10_English_x64.iso is the file name). Whenever I select my iso file in bootcamp I click on all the options (Create a Windows 7 or later install disk, Download the latest Windows support software from Apple, Install Windows 7 or later version) and continue I get:
Your bootable USB drive could not be created
Boot Camp only supports Windows 7 or later installation on this platform. Please use an ISO file for Windows 7 or later installation.
Am I supposed to be doing something different or only selecting the last two items (Download the latest Windows support software from Apple, Install Windows 7 or later version) since I have the USB? What am I doing wrong?
Thanks!
MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Mid 2014), OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)
