I understand that Find My Friends is occasionally ceasing to display your friend's location on your iPhone 6. Fortunately there are a number of steps that can be taken in order to prevent this from occurring.
- Your friend might need to correct the date on their device. Tap Settings > General > Date & Time.
- The device is off or isn't connected to cellular or Wi-Fi.
- Your friend turned on Hide My Location in Find My Friends.
- Your friend turned off Location Services in Settings > Privacy > Location Services or in Settings > Privacy > Location Services > Find Friends.
- Your friend isn't signed in to Find My Friends on the device being located.
- The device is in a country where Apple doesn't offer this feature. This feature might not be available in all countries due to technical limitations or local law.
A device's previous location will be available for 2 hours. After 2 hours, "Location not available" appears.

Sep 22, 2015 12:47 PM in response to Allen Aby questionsfromarrington,Its not that it isn't displaying his location. He will accept the invitation for me to Follow him, I can see him, and then it will abruptly change his status to Follower. Like in less than 24 hours. Then I will have to send another invitation request to follow him. He isn't doing anything to stop me from seeing him. We checked all the Privacy Location settings . He is sharing his location with me and with Find My Friends. He can bring up Find my Friends and see me, so he is obviously signed in.
We have looked at everything?
