Q: Icons that open on iPad have become invisible or blocked on my desktop (OSX Yosemite)

Icons that previously opened on desktop OS X Yosemite, are now blocked from opening.

iMac, Mac OS X (10.5.6)

    They are likely some of the infected apps which have been found on the App Store. Developers rather stupidly used copies of XCode that were not obtained from Apple. These shared copies contain extra libraries that add malware directly inside any app developed with it.

     

    They won't work again until the developers download XCode from Apple, recompile their apps, and replace them with uninfected copies on the App Store.

    Sometimes there is a blank space, and sometimes there is a tiny icon, like a picture.  When you open it, there are warnings, and codes.
