Sep 22, 2015 6:09 AM in response to HBSteveby juanmafromlogroño,Same behaviour here. Response to taps are quite random so I don't think it was intended. All other options in the calendar remain the same as in iOS8.

Sep 22, 2015 7:35 AM in response to juanmafromlogroñoby tb2496,I also found that quick tap works. maybe this has something to do with introduction of 3d touch.

Sep 22, 2015 1:12 PM in response to kfox7by cgemme,I FIXED IT ! For me amyway
The double tapping didn't work.
But I noticed that if i tapped in the current month it was not a problem but tapping in the next month it wouldn't respond,
So I MANUALLY changed the date in my phone settings to next month (the month that din't respond) now making my phone think that that was the current month.
Then I clicked away and it responded with no problems. Then went back to my settings and changed back to the current correct month (set to auto). And that slapped it around just enough to make it work now.

Sep 22, 2015 2:40 PM in response to kfox7by mdlinkous,It is a bug... a tech support via chat confirmed that today. I do notice if I click on the split view icon at the top it works... I prefer taping on the block with the dot though.
My events are not always syncing to my watch either. If/when they do, it takes a lot of time.
I would hope a lot of people are complaining about this and a update/fix will soon be available.
Strange though... it is just happening on my iPhone 6+... not my iPad.

Sep 23, 2015 7:01 AM in response to kfox7by andyfromdallas,Anybody having this problem...upgraded to ios9 on iPhone 6. Now my calendar shows two Mondays, Tuesdays, etc. And, events that are scheduled on one day are now showing up a day earlier -- even though when I open those events it says it is scheduled on the correct day.
Any ideas?

Sep 23, 2015 7:23 AM in response to kfox7by TT88,I've posted this issue awhile back too. I've found that the less skin surface you use when clicking on a day the better. I cannot open a day using my thumb as in the past. If I barely touch the day I want to open in Month view using the extreme tip of your finger than it will open every time. This is certainly a bug!

Sep 23, 2015 10:47 AM in response to kfox7by Jaywalker2015,I Was a regular user of calendar before, for keeping track of things.
now if I open up calendar, automatically today is selected, if I was to click a week today to see events for that day nothing happens - if I hit that day 5 times nothing happens, eventually it lags up the day requested -
its an extremely annoying bug.
i Turned off features like the new "save important events from email" automatically things thinking maybe it was the calendar trying to talk to other apps but the lag still occurs - it's very buggy
(iPhone 5C)

Sep 23, 2015 11:16 AM in response to andyfromdallasby Belle's Mother,Are you using iCloud for your calendar. If so, iCloud really messes the Calendar up - at least that is what I have found.
-
Sep 23, 2015 11:31 AM in response to Belle's Motherby Jaywalker2015,HI there - I've turned off everything associated with iCloud etc :/ it's just so laggy it's crazy - pretty much unusable

Sep 23, 2015 12:03 PM in response to Jaywalker2015by Belle's Mother,I have iCloud turned off. Hate it. I back up to my Mac and also have an app that backs up Notes & some other stuff. I back up Calendar separately as that is what I use the most. I have found that when I occasionally have a problem in Calendar or something else it gets solved if I turn off iPhone or iPad and then reboot. Somehow things often get mixed up but rebooting seems to always solve it for me. Sometimes with Calendar on my Mac I have to close down Calendar and then open it up again. Go figure.

Sep 23, 2015 12:18 PM in response to Belle's Motherby Jaywalker2015,SO annoying ain't it :/
WEll I've closed the calendar app a few times, done a few power on and offs -
its ts just a case of click calendar and then hammering a date about 15 times for it to show that day's events.
I use it mostly for hospital appointments / my son / doctors and in the condition it's in, so frustrating.
I Agree about the cloud, i just like to do my scheduling myself - I don't want something to do things for me!
and I like to know where my files are.
all I can say is I hope it's sorted in next update - just a waiting game I suppose.

Sep 23, 2015 12:51 PM in response to Jaywalker2015by Belle's Mother,What model iPhone do you have. I have iPhone 6 and am not having Calendar problems. I just don't like how they have changed the format - i.e. the way it appears on the screen. For instance, previous days are greyed out. I hate that Apple is telling me how I must see things. If you are in the view on the screen for the whole month, just tap "today" in the bottom left corner and you will get the list view for today plus you can scroll up or down for other lists of days. Does that help?

Sep 23, 2015 4:06 PM in response to kfox7by jdg2001,I am not sure if this answers your question but I have an icon next to the search icon that looks like a box with 2 lines under it. When I turn on that icon it kind of gives me split screen with the calendar on the top and the selected day on the bottom.
