Q: How can I be sure I have an iCloud back up to restore to before I erase my entire iPad?

i Updated my iPad mini to the new iOS 9 and now it runs terribly!! The entire iPad runs slow and wifi is REALLY SLOW! So slow it hurts!

Ive tried all the quick fixes but nothing has helped.

IVe even waited out the days they tell you to after an update and nothing has helped.

NOw I'm trying to restore my iPad to a previous back up from iCloud but Im scared to erase my entire iPad to restore to previous iCloud back up because what if there's no back up there?

HOw can I make sure there's a good iOS 8 back up on iCloud BEFORE I rerase or restore my iPad?

Please help!

I See more problems on here than I do, answers and that has me questioning Apple as I never did before.

    Restoring a backup will not restore iOS 8.  It restores you data only.  You cannot downgrade OS.

     

    You can follow the standard troubleshooting steps outlined in the iPad user guide... restart, reset, restore from backup, then restore as new device.
